Abbey Community College is committed to inclusive education and provides tailored Level 1 and Level 2 learning programmes within our Pod programme to support students with additional learning needs. These programmes offer a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment where students can develop essential life skills, communication abilities, and personal independence at a pace appropriate to their individual needs.
Through a combination of practical learning experiences, small-group teaching, and personalised planning, students are encouraged to build confidence and engage meaningfully with school life. Our dedicated staff work closely with families and collaborate with a range of external service providers to support each student’s progression and to ensure a smooth transition from secondary school into further education, training, or the world of work, enabling every learner to achieve their full potential.
